the point is, don't ever fight with the people you just gave 60 dollars to. Just say, "Oh, wow! All this time Bungie has been lying to us, thank god minimum wage joe here knows the real truth!"

the people at my gamestop are nice, when i got a DS game without its case the person at the counter pulled out a display case and handed it to me and said i was a preferred customer

I worked at Gamestop when I was in high school, and I don't think ours was very bad. Our manager knew his stuff, though, and being in high school I was gaming all the time and stayed up on the market.

That being said, every time I walk into a Gamestop these days I feel like I'm communicating with 5 year-olds. I live in a different town now, but still. The manager here where I live just doesn't seem to hire anyone of any value for a position like that.

The people at my Gamestop are also retarted. I asked what came with the Halo 3 ODST Collectors edition(or whatever) , and the guy said "Im not sure, check online, its probably the same stuff from the halo 3 collectors edition." I lol'd and left the store.

The Mythic Threads (Halo 3) (ODST) (Reach)

The employees in my local store didn't even know that Halo 3: ODST existed.

When I perordered ODST the other day at Gamestop( -_-) the clerk there jokingly quizzed me on what ODST stood for. I responded with "Orbital Drop Shock Trooper" and he immediately got serious and said I was wrong and that it actually stood for Orbital Drop Ship Trooper and that someone messed up and got the name wrong. Please tell me that this dude was wrong and just being a typical employee of Gamestop who knows absolutely nothing.

Lol, ya, he's being stupid. I actually just straight owned a GS employee when I was buying the Conduit. These kids next to me were asking when ODST was coming out and the guy getting my game behind the counter instantly said September 29th. I instantly replied "twenty-second". He looked at me with a weird glare. He looked over at the other guys and said "It's the 29th haha".

The chick along with another guy working next to the dude getting my game said she'd check to see whose right. The dude kept saying it's in the database and it's in the shipping list. She pulled up Bungie.net along with the current database for upcoming games and yup, I was right. He kept shouting how I was so wrong or whatever and that he's never been wrong or whatever. LOL, my girlfriend sighed at me (she was right next to me) and was like "You nerds..."

Been a while? Sorry about that.

Game Stop has a lot of dumb workers. There have been times I've gone to the store and payed money for a game and they gave me just the case and receipt with no game. I think they're sleep deprived or something.

Find evidence that you are right, go back to GameStop while he is working there, find which car is his and put said proof under his windshield wipers.

Then run up to the window, pull down your pants and rub your ass up against said windows.

I would do this if the Gamestop didn't have their windows covered in posters telling everyone to trade in games and get 1/8 of what they paid back in store credit.

Just burn gamestop to the ground.........................................

One of the guys at my local GAME store is pretty clued up, he was talking to me about E3 as I was preordering.

  • 07.13.2009 10:44 AM PDT

He was totally wrong. Look everywhere. Go back and ask what they are nicknamed....Helljumpers.

It seems a lot of people have retarded gamestop employees. Sucks for you guys.

The manager of the gamestop at my local mall is one of the coolest guys ever. I remember once me and my friends were walking around and we saw him playing Punch out at his gamestop with some random people. Then we played him, and we did indeed get owned. Hey, we've never played it before xP and sometimes we can just go in and talk to him about random things. He's seriously the most chill guy ever.

What if, when we use Johnson in Firefight, and a new wave starts that drops Jackals, and we happen to be on a map with a courtyard... You know what I'm thinking?
... we got Jackals in the courtyard..

Well my local Gamestop guy is pretty smart. I was wondering if I should buy Fallout and he said it was a great game. He was right.

Nothing is better than gaming through the day, into the night, then back into the day. It's like when you finally push that power button you feel like you've accomplished nothing, but at the same time, you can't stop smiling.

I would have reached across the counter and punched him in the face for being a dick.

Apparently your reading comprehension is not all there, I didn't say that it necessarily irritates me. It's just annoying.

One of the guys at my local GAME store is pretty clued up, he was talking to me about E3 as I was preordering.

Same here, I went in to buy Red Faction: Guerilla and the guy was talking to me about the games. He told my dad about ODST and how I could reserve a copy. We talked about games and announced that there was a new Halo game, Halo: Reach. He asked me if I knew, and I said "Yeah."

He didn't say Reach though... I think he said Halo: Reaction O.o
I just left and didn't say anything as not to be rude.

Just yell " NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO"

Then puch him in the face and run away.

This post -blam!- wins.

And the clerk was really wrong. :\
