I keep hearing that ODST has all the maps on it, so is the ODST gameplay different from Halo 3 or is it just going to have Halo 3 gameplay on their. I'm really confused on it and that probabaly doesn't make sense. some one explain

depends, if you never ever play campaign mode then no you wont need the Halo 3 disk once you have Halo 3:ODST. ODST comes with the ODST disc (the campaign) and a disc which contains Halo 3 multiplayer (including all Halo 3 maps, from original release and all the mapacks, + 3 new maps) if you only use the multiplayer part of Halo 3 and do not play campaign/ don't want any of the achievments you need campaign mode to get then you will no longer need the Halo 3 after getting Halo 3: ODST

I'll be downloading it to my Hard-Drive so I can play Campaign whenever I want. I won't be touching Multiplayer from HDD-located game though, as that has been stated to cause problems. I'll use the ODST-given multiplayer disk for that.

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

You know if you DL a game to your hard drive you have to use THAT GAME to turn it on, without the disk the game refuses to start.
