I realize that ODST is an 'expantion' on HALO3 but will you have to use the disc everytime you play it like a normal game, or is there a way to, download it i guess, to the 360 so everytime you put in HALO3 you can play ODST like an actual expantion?

Well, Bungie were calling it an expansion, but had a change of heart.

The game is a standalone game. Just pop the disc in, it plays, good times.
