Do Not Hesitate, Show No Mercy, Not One Step Back.
Finish It.

I have been playing H3 for a while and the worst thing that can happen in the lobby is getting a good map with a gametype that you don't want to play. Guardian Oddball for example. So what If you could veto just the gametype or just the map, or both. so this way, you could hit X to veto the map and/or B to veto the Gametype.

EDIT: I worked on this idea with the help of my friend B0G BEAST.

With basically only two types of team slayer variants: Team Slayer and Team BR's, they should adapt the Gears of War 2 vetoing system. Players are presented with both options and cast their vote on which gametype they would like to play. The same rule applies to what map they play on. In the case of a tie the gametype/ map chosen is random.

YES!! This has been driving me nutz for sometime now, People always trade a game they don't want for a game they don't want on a map they don't like, and then people get mad and back out and ruin the game for everyone else. There needs to be more options for the veto system. Oh and i'm sick of people vetoing a slayer game for BRs and we end up with a neutral bomb game.

But there needs to be something done about backing out for sure. I can see if there's an emergency, or if the power goes out, stuff you can't help is fine. But 1/2 to 3/4 the time I play matchmaking it seems like I have 1 to 3 people back out sometime during the match, sometimes everyone jumps out if its a flag game and the other team scores the first one fast. This makes for unfair and unenjoyable games, people should get docked more for that or something.

Bringing you lame jokes, social awkwardness and the occasional good idea since 2008

And you veto before it loads, and if over half veto it doesn't wait for more, it just chooses a new one.

Posting on bungie.net should require that the user has had to have read a chapter book all the way through.

I think we need to be able to see what the next map and/or Gametype will be if vetoed.I hate vetoing a gametype/map I dont like just to get a worse one

...

It sounds goog to me but I expect it would be too complicated for some players to take seriously. Not exactly sure why I say that but it for some reason I expect mass vetos to be flying for no reason.

They said they can't have a veto before it loads in case someone can't load the map. I do like the second idea though.
