WOAH man a whopping 4 days i wish i was you. i mean its not like it comes out 4 days later.

Just to let u know moron any store the breaks the date release can get shut down. there is a label that says to not open it till a certain date for a reason

Case and point. Exact same thing happned with halo 3, and if anyone sold ODST before the 22nd and got caught, then microsoft would be all over them like a sack of potatoes.Yea.

I wouldn't plug into Xbox live, untill the 22nd. Someone tried to play Halo 3 early, and was banned for 7000 years. I was actually able to get Halo 3 early, because my uncle worked at the places that sold games to the stores, but I was too scared to put it into my xbox until the day it came out, so I used my brothers, and disconnected the LIVE.

I don't want to ruin your party but don't end up like the guy who got banned till the year 9999. He played Halo 3 before the the release date and was banned until 12/31/9999. Just a heads up for ya. If I could find the video I would link it.

Yeah, If I unplug my Xbox LIVE Ethernet cable, I'll be good, right? Don't feel like staring at the disc for 4 days, when I could be playing it.

Remember this though. If you beat the game on any difficulty and get the achievement it will say on Xbl:Unlocked on 9/20 or whatever day you unlock before it comes out.Someone will see that and report you and have fun being banned for 10,000 years :]P.S. You were wrong to go on a rant and have your little temper tantrum at that kid.He was right about it being against the law to give someone a game before it comes out.

Eh, whatever then, I'll just play Firefight until the 22nd lol.
And me go on a rant? He completely flamed me when all I said was I was getting it 4 days earlier... And it is illegal but it isn't. Putting it on the shelf before the official release date is, but since you own the store, it's technically "your" game. You can do whatever you want.

Trust me dude, nothing will happen, as long as you don't put it on the shelf... and even then nothing will happen. We always put our games on the shelf as soon as we receive them, nothing happens, but we don't do it with movies.

Pretty sure Bungie or Microsoft could sue them for that. I seem to remember there was a lot of this when Halo 3 came out.

I'm going to invade your heart like a barn swallow high on milk chocolate and grandma love.

Fairness is only possible within the limited powers of man. Elsewhere, there is only chance.

Thus I refute thee.

Nice, that's pretty cool.

In my town, the nearest Gamer Crazy informed me that I will be able to pick up Halo 3: ODST September 18th and so does the rest of the town. So I told him, "You do know Halo 3: ODST comes out on the 22nd of September?" he said "Yes, but we are getting an early shipment, and we're putting it on stock on the 18th." So if this is true, I will be playing Halo 3: ODST four days before anyone else.
if they said that, they can say good bye, toys r us got in ALOT of troubble for selling the vision camera early, and this will get them in ALOT of trouble

Meh, it's no big deal the game is all about single player so your not really getting a head start on anything.

Road to Recon

I thought about that but considering it's practically 1/100th of the game I left it out.

Haven't you thought about the fact that the vidmasters will include 4 player Live co-op? He won't be able to do anything except campaign

You're xbox doesn't record the dates of achievements unlocked online. Check out my achievements for proof, I'm sure one of the meta-game achievements was achieved offline, it just says; date unlocked:

..........Nothing more

This wa meant for the guy who posted about unlocking the achievements offline (forgot to click quote)

The store would be the one getting in trouble. What I would do if I were you, is get a different account, like a silver account, and play that untill release, so that if that gets banned, your fine. Unless they ban your IP or Xbox completely.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

You cannot get banned for buying a game legally even if that said game is not supposed to be released at that time. Aslong as you did not get that game through illegal means then you are not in trouble. However, that store will be fined due to the fact that the game will ship with an orange sticker stating not to sell the game before September 22nd.

Well I don't want to have them sued because that is the only game store for miles.
