Well this probably won't make it to any one who is important since I have never posted anything that is, but what the heck, here it goes. Hey frankie, my dad was wondering what new mapping techniques and other stuff is being put into Halo 2? Me and him were argueing which was better, Halo 2 or Doom 3. Of course I'm sticking to Halo 2 and I need information that will blow his mind so that I can finally win an argument. Please help me win!

You should probably PM him, or Sketch, or one of the mods, or maybe try emailing The WebMaster. I dont think you will get the answer you want here, oh well.

Wrong on both accounts. Both games use proprietary engines. Doom 3 uses the Doom 3 engine, and Halo 2 uses the Halo 2 engine.

As for "technologies," Bungie is keeping their secrets secret, so I don't think they're going to tell you, even if your Dad thinks Doom 3 will be better.
