hi,
ive been playing some H2 online lately and decided to try out my mic, been having some problems but finally got it all set up and working how i want (voice only through headset etc), but in a match i just seem to get garbled messages, it sounds as though its garbled, /or distorted. its not as though you can pick out the odd word from the message or anything its just totally not understandable.
Earlier today the only message i recieved and understood and was in words, was from a nice person who responded to my probably 20th "test" message and that was "we can hear you" so i was able to hear one message! (yay)

the problem is every other message in the game was garbled / distorted. this has been on several matches i have tried over several days. now i know it is not going to be perfect etc and there is bound to be some interferiance etc however not hearing any message defeats the object of voice coms for team games, why would ANYONE use a headset for mic and voice chat if noone could make anything out?

this leads me to belive that there is the odd phrase or transmition that is garbled etc but mostly they are ok and usable. i have tried my pc mic and my 360 mic through my wireless pc 360 controler to see if thats any better.
so suggestions guys?

awh so its not me, i just have to wait until someone who sends a clear message sort of thing? and this may be due to people having their mic located badly etc.
thats a little relief that im not doing something wrong i guess. its shocking though that ive had one message thats understandable in a few days of playing.

Perception is everything.

Use Skype instead.

Well, it wouldn't really help with random people in the ingame chat, but just tell your friends to add you on skype and start up skype before you start up halo.
