Well, I was playing halo (combat evolved ftw :P!) , and a friend said that Bungie had to take out Firefight out of Halo3 ODST because Epic Games is threatening to sue because of ***similarities***, and I need to know a few things.
I"m not saying that Epic owns the gametype, I"m saying that i was told that Fire Fight was so similar to hord that Epic was about to sue.
1st. Is this true, or am I about to remove someone from my friends list?
2nd. If it is true, can't Bungie change some minor detail and give Epic Games and epic middle finger?
I've also seen some people talking on the forums about forge on Firefight. I don't think that a personal editor would work. On matchmaking, we play maps that bungie has forged themselves, and if we don't get a personal forge option, they could come out with a weekly map that has been forged. Bungie would make the maps so that no enemies are blocked out, and you still get to play a different firefight map every week. On top of that, you would be able so save the maps onto your hard drive so you can replay them as much as you like if you're disconnected from xbox live.
Can't wait until it comes out. Hope it's a a lot better than modern warfare 2. (hissss, call of duty bad...)
Have a nice day.
