Armor Lock isn't overpowered. You just suck at Reach :)

Reach isn't bad, you're just a BK :)

For my gamertag, look up "Ghoulishtie"

Anything but one for blood gulch.

I would find that hilarious. Thousands of Blood Gulch fans BAAAWWWW over a ' Halo 1, two based canyon' map not being in Reach. I would just laugh and say "Well, you shouldn't have BAAAAWWWWed about it on the forums so much idiots." (Dont get me wrong. I want to see them continue from Valhalla. Just not see something pretty much like Blood Gulch)

IMO, I would like to see remakes of either: High Ground, Blackout, Construct, or Last Resort.

I would like to see a spiritual successor to Valhalla. That map needs morevariety in terms of footsoldier movement. Just because a map is vehicle based, don't just make it so it's open land everywhere. The caves were a nice addition, but they didn't really help much.

Anyway, the original maps from Halo 3 I would like to see are maybe High Ground and either The Pit or Construct.

From Halo 2: Something similar to Lockout/Blackout, Terminal, and maybe Sanctuary.

From Halo 1: Gephyrophobia (PC), Deadly Canyon (PC), Boarding action.

But i don't know if I want too many remakes, I like new maps.

I want more new maps instead of remakes. If I had to choose one map to be remade though, it would be Hang 'em High, if there is fall damage and if it plays like Halo 1.

I loved Gephyrophobia.

And then then they took out the Banshees and turrets for Narrows. :(

You don't understand the great history of blood gulch. It is the most legendary and renowned Halo map ever to be created.

Check out the group, Planet Reach and talk about Bungie's next game without the annoyance of the public forum. Oh and it's nice there too.

You thought you had lag, it took Jesus 3 days to re-spawn.

No it's not. That's nostalgia speaking. Sure it's a fun map, but it's not the greatest map of all time.

I, for one, don't want any remakes. I want fresh, new ideas.

how about both?

Sandtrap: I think this map was incredibly creative, it makes use of most of Halo's vehicles, and has multiple ways to play. The sniper is well hidden, and equipment and gravity lifts are used in the right spots. A version of this map without the spartan laser, trip mine, or missle pod, and with more rocket launchers, which take a bit of skill to use.

High Ground: Like it or not, this is likely the most strategy based map Halo 3 has to offer. Small elements such as whether the gate is open or closed can determine the whole match, and tactics such as having your whole team hold the beach (my favorite, as you get the overshield, sniper, a ghost, and if your willing to travel far enough, the camo). you almost always pull off a win.

Geryphobia: This map was awesome. The choices betwewen whether to get a ghost, a banshee, or go on foot, and when to get the overshield are deciding battles. Plus, the shade turrents offered excellent ground support for the banshees, put are in the middle of the field, meaning that it takes teamwork to coordinate an attack that can decisely take out the banshee.

Sidewinder: and I don't mean that avalanche crap.....

I'm all for both, but then you get all the -blam!-ing when something about some "beloved" map is slightly different. Then the map is ruined and the original is still better. In my opinion it's pointless to do a remake if people will still just say the original is better and the reasons are fairly trivial anyway.
