In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

We all know how this game will end; reach getting glassed and master chief fleeing in the pillar of autumn. But the book didnt describe how the spartans died (i think because i havent read the book for 1 year). Maybe they got glassed with reach, or maybe a covenant team wiped them out before reach was glassed. A covenant team under your command!

covenant story: maybe you start off as a high ranking elite, you have your own covenant spec-ops team. i think it would be great if you could start off in a covenant destroyer (because we were only in one covenant ship the truth and Reconciliation) you could go down to reach via dropship and unleash hell on the spartan/marine forces protecting reach.

Regular reach campaign: you have a group of spartans that destroy any foolish covenant dumb enough to get in your way. (basically the book "fall of reach" made into a video game.)
To start, the fate of the Spartans who went ground-side is mostly covered in First Strike (I haven't read them in a while, either. Forgetting stuff's easy, I understand).

TO the topic at hand. I have to say that a covenant perspective would be pretty cool (as seen in Halo 2). Hell, something that switches off like Halo 2 from human to covenant wouldn't be half bad.

i would like it but most people hated the switching in halo 2

Well actually, only two of the of Spartan teams were documented in First Strike (it doesn't really get to their mission in The Fall of Reach). There are still two other teams that have currently unknown fates.

you are right, but...
why Halo 2 had more sales than Halo CE? Halo 2 is a god game

I know, Bungie staff sayd it themselves, making the Arbites story was a chalenge, because he is not human, he is not the chief... thas why you never fight humans as the Arbiter you just have a "symbolic" fight with them in the levels Sacred Icon and Quarantine Zone.

But the Covenant perspective must be in the game

Highly doubt it. The MC will probably flee relatively early on (he wasn't on Reach, and left about 30 mins after the Spartans of Red Team fell to the surface).

Maybe they got glassed with reach, or maybe a covenant team wiped them out before reach was glassed. A covenant team under your command!Red Halo First Strike if you want a better idea of what Halo REACH will be about.

Wasn't the bit where Master Chief fled right at the start of the battle? I thought there was tons more that went on after that; we just haven't seen it in a game yet.

He fought in space on a 15 minute long zero-Gee mission, but he never fought alongside more than two Spartans and didn't fight on Reach's surface until after Halo 1.

They should just make a game where it shows the covenants view all the way up to Halo 3. Or maybe even past that.

no, no and -blam!- no

i hated playing as the arbitor, but if they make either a elite campign DLC then that'll work, or if they don't make i play the elite missions to play the humans side then that'll work too

but if they make u play through then i'll be pissed, i still buy the game but still

No, thats not how it went at all. The master cheif and some marines fought on Reach, along with blue team, red team, and green team (other spartans). The master cheif then left with the pillar of autum and it slipspace jumped to the first halo. The rest of the spartans went underground with Dr. Halsey and explored the underground ruins. They then jumped away on another Frigate. thats what happened to them...
