NO!

NO!

One of the great things about HALO IS its story. But another great thing about HALO is that it is always evolving, and never the same, especially in Multi-Player. Every time you SPAWN you are in for a new experience and each player creates their own memories in each game. They are different every time!!
I always thought the earlier Star Wars movies were better than this new "soap opera" crap with or without cgi. Movies are getting better, as far as effects go, but why try to put the HALO experience down into a black and white script and have some Hollywood "Director" establish something visually so everyone can relate to HALO from Hollywood's point of view. (I see power-rangers for some reason)
I would rather watch for the movies on the game disc at each level climax. ( Maybe even piece them together??) Then you will here in the immortal words of Butthead "I have been to the top of the mountain, and it is good."

HALO IS SACRED and UNTOUCHABLE !!!!!!

This statement by JAGraptor says it all...

"I, mean, just think what would happen if 'hollywood' got it's filthy rat claws on a Halo movie. Just think hard about it for a minute. Ready to vomit yet?"

The only time Halo should become a movie, is in the year 2015! Why? because the film industry is full of big headed morons who couldn't make a decent film if their lives depended on it. In 2015 CGI will look as real as real can be, then only then do you make a Master Chief. The CGI in Spider Man, Matrix, Hulk etc.. just doesn't cut it.

I want Bungie 100% involved with the making of a Halo movie, the dumb ass writers/directors/producers will be the pons, any other way would kill Halo for good.

I think the best way to make a Halo movie would be live action. Why you ask? Because it would just seem more real, granted, I think that money should be spent where it is needed. IE: not on actors or directors, but the film itself. Making sure that details are paid very close attention to. Make sure that sets and effects are realistic, not just "cool". I think that would make the film great. And why is everyone complaining about a love story? I think that it could be interesting, obviously not between MC and cortana or something stupid like that, and not even a love story on the typical hollywood sense. Maybe just convincing looks, or speech between two characters, it doesn't have to go any further than that to add an interesting element to the story.

i think there should be a halo movie or better yet a CG series. it would be better because in a movie they wont show all of wat is halo or wat led to halo or anitinig about da characters. in a series it would show how MC was taken away at age 6 to become a soldier to the end of halo 2 or the threat of the covenant

PS: DON HATE is just a suggestion but if dere is a halo movie it should be good and with lots of story lines not som borin action/gointogetboring crap

I agree that it should be a series, I don't think you can do it justice in just one movie. I have to agree with you on that, but I still say it should be live action, and not CG. I also read where someone said that the soundtrack needed to be all composed, and not contemporary. I disagree with that too, while I don't think the music should consist of "thrash metal", I think some contemporary music could be good. I somehow picture a scene like the raid on the pirate asteroid from the first book, being set to something like "The Package" by A Perfect Circle, and maybe some techno-ish elements, like Prodigy or The Crystal Method dotted here and there throughout the soundtrack, nothing overbearing, though.

they should only make a movie if they keep it authentic and true to the games and books down to the last detail. And they should find the right actor to play the parts even if they are no-name actors they should look the same and act like the character they are portraying. If they can't get this right then they should just use 3D models and render a movie like final fantasy advent children. that is my take.

i think a halo movie might be kinda boring. cause, if u think about it, most of the movie would be just shooting aliens. that would get boring after a while.

They should make a movie about The Fall of Reach book that way not everyone would know what is going to happen. The book is really good and a movie should be just as good.

if they were to make a halo movie which they definitely should, then it would have to be a total bungie creation, it would be best as CG, but it could still work as live action for humans and stunts and CG for the covenant. also Samuel L. Jackson should play as Sargeant Johnson, not Vin cant act worth -blam!- Diesel.

if they do make the movie get Jason Alexander as MC,Paris Hilton as Cortana, dave chapelle as Sgt Johnson & the bush adminastration to play the covenant (or the flood) there you have it i' ve done about as good a job as the knobs in hollywood would do.

i think a halo film should be made only if a:at least 75% of halo fans agree, b:if bungie is given full UNQUESTIONED control over its making, and c:if people are willing to put more effort and cash into making it rather than advertising it.

Who needs a movie? Every Bungie game has such a detailed, rich story and history that playing a Bungie game is like participating in your own theatrical movie. Being the Master Chief or the 10th cyborg yourself is much more enthralling than merely watching either of them. It's much more rewarding to stop the dreaming god yourself or hurl Balor's head into the great devoid yourself than to watch some actor do it. Who needs a movie? Not I! All I need is for Bungie to continue kicking blam as usual.

If they made one I'd see t, but if they didn't I wouldn't be sad, because in my oppinion playing Halo 2 would be better than seeing a movie of Halo 2.

I think a halo movie would be awesome. Bungie would have to have complete control over it. It would have to be CG because it would be more like the game. It would have to follow the books and the game exactly. Also the voices should be done by the people who did them in the game and as for other characters that weren't in the game but in the books they should be people who would best sound like the characters in the books. And they should spend the time and money to getting the CG to as near real as it can be. That is just how I think it should be done. If it is going to be done it should be done right.

I agree, bungie should have complete control over the movie cause anyone else would screw up the storyline somehow. I'd want the movie to be as close to the real story (books and games) as possible

if they made a Halo movie who would play captain Keyes? Jack Nicholsen or Micheal Kane? who would play Cortana? Julia Roberts? and what about the good Chief himself? Keanau Reeves!? I think it would make a good movie but c'mon! who really looks like the Master Chief or Keyes!? I'm all for it but who would be a good actor?

I think A halo movie would be good but only under certain conditions:
1. Bungie controlled EVERYTHING about the movie.
2. Hollywood does not interfere.
3. Marty O'donnel does the soundtrack.
4. It is done in CG.

Personally I like the idea of CG better than any other form of movie because it seems to me that you can do more with it than anime or live action. I also think it would be cool if they A: did the movie(s) on the books (The Fall of Reach would be AWSOME). or B: continued on the HALO storyline, because if I remember correctly Bungie said they would not make a HALO 3.
