Ok you have to understand. he attacked me. I do not usually freak out like that. see, he came on to us. i defended my opinions. so i am not da bad guy here, but maybe I freaked out a little too much. I have had it. and you my friend, can't talk because you get on grim rupert for his opinions. I really do not want to hurt our, i guess you could say, friendship but i will defend myself if need be. could we please put this behind us and focus on the task at hand. The halo movie. I really like the idea of eric nylund for the script writer, and vin diesal for a marine. lets keep those entries and ideas comin people.

Ropie my man (and Devota) this is a place to discuss opinions and as such, we shouldnt be harassing people for not wanting a halo movie... assuming they share their ideas. Before anyone points out the obvious... people who dont really know what theyre talking about, and those that havent even read all of the books but still claim to be a master of them (especially the ones they havent even read at all) do NOT count in the above point. Oh yeah and Im not saying that people who havnt read the books have worthless opinions, quite the contrary, but... well, see my above exclusion.
I mean I can see a fair few good reasons NOT to make a Halo movie, even the im almost completely for it... the main one being that whilst giving the rights to anyone would almost lead to certain disaster, Bungie ARE NOT a movie studio... they may be (and I pray they are) keen to learn, but all the money in the world doesnt make up for experience in this case. It would really be a shame if Bungie destroyed their own movie.
I shall repeat a few things for all the new guys that cant be bothered reading through these swarms of crap (makes sense to me too!)
- Vin Deisel, by popular opinion, should NOT be the MC, but he could easily be a soldier like Corporal Locklear
- Most people seem to want CG or live\CG... I agree due to the fact that Anime lacks a certain level of detail, or if it has said detail, it tends to 'clutter' up the picture.
- Finally starting to see that most people want Eric Nylund to do the screenplay... good work team!
