This thread is just stupid.
You all seem to be assuming that Reach will be the same as the other Halos in terms of gameplay, and I'm pretty sure that it won't..Reach will have a multiplayer, so what is stupid about making suggestions for it? Sure, we dont know what it will be like, but it's worth a shot.
What's stupid about it? You have no clue how the multiplayer is going to work, and yet you're already trying tell Bungie how to fix it.
There isn't going to be a drastic change to multiplayer. It's going to be team vs. team, first to 50 kills. You will kill your opponent with weapons and grenades.
It's obvious.
I hope you're not expecting Halo: reach to rock your world. Because it's not. It's going to be like every other Halo game, with some differences. Not DRASTIC, but differences.
I'm not expecting it to 'rock my world,' but I do think it's going to be more than just "Halo 4."
And sure, you can make all the suggestions you want. I just think it would be a lot smarter if you guys waited to play the beta before you criticized the gameplay. I think there's a good chance that the BR won't be in the game anyway since it would screw up the Halo fiction.
Hopefully it will be more than just "Halo 4". But more than making the consumer happy/enjoy their time, they care about money. They have to satisfy both crowds; competitive and casual. That's what Halo is right now. You can't make too much of changes because maybe it'll start leaning towards one side. And the competitive community is a small percentage compared to the casual. What side do you think they'd rather lean towards to? Obviously the one that's bigger, therefore being the one that pays more.
Before they listen to us about "balancing" the game out, they listen to people who want flying Scorpions and who want deployable overshields and active camouflage (as an example).
Casual > Competitive.
And the end of the day, it's all business...
