So, I really can't wait for halo odst. I have been checking out pictures and videos, but while doing that I noticed something. The HUD is extremely visible and, to me, seems a bit intrusive. I know bungie made a different HUD on purpose to make you feel like an ODST, but i think it might be a bit much. What do you guys think?HUD picHUD without labels[Edited on 07.15.2009 12:09 PM PDT]

are you talking about the labels on everything?
well it is an issue of game immersion if you ask me...Posted by: nuchydoes it matter?
k, just makin sure you didnt think the labels were part of the hud
The only reason it is extremely visible in those two pictures is because, in the first one, the dudes stamina was low and flashing. and in the second one, he had VISR on, and that outlines everything in neon lights, including the HUD.
well from the looks of the city, you will have your visor on for quite some time so that is relevant.[Edited on 07.15.2009 12:50 PM PDT]

And only a few Firefight maps will be dark, or so we know as of now. Anyways. I really don't think the HUD is a problem. I like it.
im sure i will get used to it, maybe like it even better :)
it looks good to me.

I like how it is inverted to the H3 hud
Techno iz Life. I'm a long time halo player and like to have fun in customs and social MM. I also like to play ranked games but only if your going to be serious, you can still have fun, and maybe even learn a thign or two.
seems ok to me. i'm kinda lookin forward to the VISR mode option. i've always wanted a halo with night vision. (or at least a setting that needs one)
