Does anyone know if Reach will use Project Natal for gameplay? I havent found anything suggesting one way or another. For those of you who dont know what Natal it, look it up on google, youtube, xbox.com, or something. All of those have some info on it. On the poll, there is a list of facts and opinions about this subject. If there is any comfirmation on it, then select the correct one and choose the one that best states your opinion. If you've heard rumors, pick the one you've seen and has your opinion about it. If you you have no idea, choose one of the rumors even if you havent heard one way or another. if this is confusing, sorry, i tend to make simple things sound complicated. Just say so in the forum. Also put you're reasoning on your opinion in the forum. i really wanna know.

It is my latest cultural research project! By randomly saying LOLWIN to semi-funny replies on the Halo 3 forum, I hypothesize that a temperary self-esteem boost will be present.

And once they read this, they will be a little worse off than before.

...Project Natal?

It is like a really hightec camera that can capture join movement. I would like to use it for some things that would normally not be possible. (Imagine realistic rock climbing, or piloting/driving a vehicle, hand to hand combat etc.)

Natal, could make halo reach into one of the best games ever. But it wont. Natal will fail in the long run. People still love their controllers. I hope to god bungie wasnt stupid enough to let microsoft possibly ruin another one of their games.

Apparently your reading comprehension is not all there, I didn't say that it necessarily irritates me. It's just annoying.

Yes, I would like Natal very much. The only problem I would have with it is if you had to run/ walk also. I would keep a controller that, but I would like to use body movements to affect my character. For instance, if I crouched, the character would crouch as far as I went. I could peek around the corner by moving my head. But I would leave the running and shooting to the joystick.

Because Muslims surgically implant organic bombs in their testicles, which in turn will be injected into women during sex, which will grow into BABY BOMBS!

No game could ever fail that bad.

They better not, controllers seem best for FPS games. If anything make it so you have to use Natal to teabag, cuz people are lazy and it'll prolly finally end all that nonsense:)

I would like to see it as an option, but not as a mandatory appliance. Then again, however, we are talking about money grubbing M$, so we might all be having to buy expensive motion detecting cameras if we want to play our beloved Halo's sequel.

Better watch out, Dont get stomped on.

in other words ita a better version of the eyetoy for the PS3

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

Competitive games like shooter stand to benefit very little from something like Natal. Something of that nature should be used to add little things to gameplay, but the core gameplay should still rely on the precision of the controller.

It isn't our shiznit anymore.

The only reason we (as a community) don't like natal is because we have grown very attached to our controllers. It's all we have been using since the creation of video game consoles. How can we say that the controller is the best way to play FPS games if the controller is the only way we have played? All translation problems from the controller to Natal have been solved (movement, looking, etc.). The only problem is the gaming community willing to at least try it before they decide they absolutely hate it.

"Go on Timmy, try your vegetables."
"I don't wanna!"
"Why? They're your first time eating them, why don't you wanna try it?"
"Because they're green and they look gross!"

THANK YOU! see thats my point! Finally, someone who isnt closed minded and uses intelligence in decisions. My personal opinion is that natal could be good, or it could suck. i just wanna find out. they need to have the option on some games so you can try it, and if you hate it, you can just pick up the controler and play halo normaly.
