I have had this game for a while now and it has allways been crashing and recently when i put this in the command line -noSSE it works but i can't chat to people on multiplayer. any help?

I am using windows xp with sp2 and my computer is fine with alot of other games just not this one.

Fisrt of all, what does -noSSE do? You might have overloaded the program that shows the text in multiplayer. Check my sig for more info on that.

i don't think -noSSE is a command thing that can be used with halo. Take that out and see what happens.

put -? in to see all of the commands that can be used with halo.

-novideo works too but i cant see any multiplayer text , like player who killed u / what u type / what they type etc

1. Try not using the command line again, or check it, I don't ever recall seeing or hearing about an SSE disable...

2. Try using the msxlmenu or whatever it is in the halo directory - if the disable SSE2 actually does work.
