Haven't seen this one asked yet and couldn't find anything in the search engine...

I know that the second disk of ODST will have all the Halo 3 multiplayer stuff, plus the new maps. What I'm wondering is does that mean that post-ODST, in order to play multiplayer, will I have to use the ODST disc only? The reason I ask is because if the rest of say, mythic, is on the ODST second disc, then it pretty much means in order to play any playlists that require mythic i should be using the ODST disc. Or will there be an option to save the new maps to harddisc, enabling you to play off your original Halo 3 disc as well?

Sorry if that wasn't totally clear, let me know if I need to reword it...thanks in advance.

Well I mean it would make sense if you just loaded the maps off the ODST disc and then could play off either one...I mean if I want to do co-op campaign with my friends and then we decide to do matchmaking halfway through, am I going to have to stall them all while I swap to my ODST disc?

That just seems silly to me.

I Only Look Special

It only seems logical that the DLC maps will be downloadable off the disk, but I don't know the real answer for sure.

Also if you all want to play matchmaking you would all need to swap to the ODST disk if it is not possible to download the maps from it. I do agree though it would be a hastle to swap between disks just to play multiplayer or campaign.

I want my steaks Luke...

Theoretically speaking i would think so because on Halo 2, they came out with the disk that added all new maps to the save on your memory so that you could play on the original disk, but I'm not sure... Oh and it's hard drive, not disk, you might want to change that before you get flamed...

It's 12:30 in the morning, I don't physically have the energy to edit that. Plus honestly I don't care, if someone's flaming me because I said harddisc instead of harddrive they need to find a better use for their time.

Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks it should be downloaded off the disc...hopefully bungie feels the same way.
