I wish Halo was a little bigger where I live. There's a city a few miles from the village I live in, but I bet there isn't even 200 Halo gamers (20 hardcore gaming fanatics) in the entire district surrounding it (which is about a 5 mile radius from the city centre, with around 50,000 people).
Most of my friends have moved on from Halo onto other things( I have 7 gaming friends). The recent fad is because of a huge indoor snowslope has been built (Xscape), so they all go there to do Snowboarding and Skiing. I admit, it's a cool place. It has the slope, shops, cinema, restaurants and other activities (like climbing). I'd start snowboarding too but I'm the only one who sees how much it costs to start out (the lessons that allow you on the slope), its like £60 an lesson (1hour) with all the rental gear and its meant to take 6 lessons to allow you on the slope (£360). I'm simply not paying that much.
I play Halo on average 1-2 hours, but sometimes dwindles under the hour. I think I'm slowly playing Halo less and less because I have few Halo gaming friends (7 gaming friends) and don't really see no future for Halo, except when Halo 2 comes out and it explodes. At the moment I am getting bored of playing Campaign and Multiplayer with the same people, so I suppose I'll have to wait for November 11th for my other friends to come back.
