Hey guys once again i have another idea but this one is a little more serious.

Once you're done all the flashbacks and pieced together what's happened in New Mombasa while Rookie was unconscious in his drop pod wouldn't it be sick if you could hit "load campaign" (sort of the old style saved games like u can in Age Of Empires) on a saved game that you already completed the game on and wander the city continously finding enemies and easter eggs.

and if you want to do missions again you can go to a destroyed cinema building (possibly mutiple ones) in New Mombasa and replay (actually play not watch a cinematic) flashbacks and parts of missions that you have already completed (like in saints row if anyones played that).

sorry for the wall o text type writing i just couldnt find the end of an idea very often to make a paragraph.

The fight has been complete.... now get the cookies!

While we certainly share your enthusiasm for the return, we here at the Bungie.net community are mostly made up of snarky asses and jerks who will ridicule you for making a thread about something revealed months ago. We regret that your innocent intentions will almost certainly be replied with anger and sarcasm, and politely invite you to don your Flame-suit, because you just did the internet equivalent of jumping up the Construct lifts.

Pretty good.

or you could load the mission by selecting in the pregame lobby

The Open City Hub is actually a mission in itself called "Mombasa Streets". When you find the clues, it loads up the other mission and after the flashbacks, load you back into "Mombasa Streets". So, technically, you could replay each Mission from "Mombasa Streets" as many times as you want.

Yes, continious free roam and enemies to fight would be nice.

Just hope the patrols vary up a bit. I want to be roaming the city and suddenly have some Drones and Hunters after me.

yeah, plus actual fortifications instead of random enemies standing around, makes it seem more like an invasion than a brief picnic

No, absolutely opposite to what i was saying. I mean the Mombasa Streets stays there like the lobby and you choose your mission by either activating the normal trigger (finding a clue) or going to a cinema-type area where all your previously completed missions are in a list ready for you to give another shot if you want to.

So Streets are sort of like a neutral zone in between missions right?
Anyway the idea is a covenient, easy way to restart missions you didnt feel you got the most out of the first time
