The fight has been complete.... now get the cookies!

While we certainly share your enthusiasm for the return, we here at the Bungie.net community are mostly made up of snarky asses and jerks who will ridicule you for making a thread about something revealed months ago. We regret that your innocent intentions will almost certainly be replied with anger and sarcasm, and politely invite you to don your Flame-suit, because you just did the internet equivalent of jumping up the Construct lifts.

Its a few weeks from halo 3. NO :D

Bungie has confirmed there will be no Flood in Halo 3: ODST.

  • 07.16.2009 9:29 AM PDT

the campaign could be really long?

  • 07.16.2009 9:29 AM PDT

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

No Flood ever recorded to be present on Earth apart from in The Storm and Floodgate. No, the campaign can't be overly long because it is an expansion.

No Bungie have said that there will be no flood although it would be cool if there was DLC for firefight with the flood and maybe some easter eggs in campaign

=)

A well-built sniper rifle is a beautiful thing. Mine has two separate levels of zoom: 'Up-close-and-personal' and 'Hello-you're-dead'.

No flood man.

There should be Flood in ODST Fire Fight at least, cause Sgt. Johnson was not in that city after Chief left, cause he went with him, yet Johnson is usable in Fire Fight, but yet no Flood to fight, what gives? (You don't believe, play Halo 2 again and you'll see what I mean)

Posting on bungie.net should require that the user has had to have read a chapter book all the way through.

Not an expansion anymore. They lengthened it because of the retail price

"The next time you see me, I'll be stabbing you to death! Okay?"

The Flood doesn't fit in with the time period in which ODST takes place. So as many have said, no flood will be present in ODST.

As For Sgt. Johnson, he's only available if you get the special addition, and only for Firefight. Firefight isn't the campaign mode. That's like saying that the entire time Master Chief was on Halo there were a bunch of other Spartans and Elites playing Capture the Flag.
