Yea THINK.

One only reason people are so mad is because way back before ODST was finished Bungie or Microsoft said it was an Expansion. YET THINGS CHANGE. ODST could have been an expansion but bungie raised it up a lot. It would probably be a lot shorter, and less fun if it was just an expansion.

Campaign-It's an Open World, this is big and new for Halo. Closest thing to this was Halo on Halo(1). This means it's hard to tell how long it would take to beat the game. Seeing how the city you play in is pretty big it could take 3-4 hours just exploring and killing enemies (not counting flashbacks).

Then the Flashbacks which will be more Halo Style (none open world) which could take random amounts of time depending on what they do, etc.

So 3-4 hours open world, 1-2 hours of flashback =4-6 hour (EST/APROX) sounds good to me, full game legth, and if not the COOP and open world and path choosing (ability?) will add replay time.

Plus the bonus things, easter eggs. So really what was once a 4 hour or 6 hour game, can now be looked at as 6-7 hours.

Then Firefight! (Not saying much b/c we all know this will be played A LOT)

Then Halo3 MP with a ton of maps

yea it's a full game

The fight has been complete.... now get the cookies!

While we certainly share your enthusiasm for the return, we here at the Bungie.net community are mostly made up of snarky asses and jerks who will ridicule you for making a thread about something revealed months ago. We regret that your innocent intentions will almost certainly be replied with anger and sarcasm, and politely invite you to don your Flame-suit, because you just did the internet equivalent of jumping up the Construct lifts.

Everyone only complains about it because they heard its an expansion. It isnt an expansion anymore its a full game and even if it isnt think of all the fricken fun youll have with it. Keep complaining and you dont even deserve it. Thank you for this thread so i could post this.

U.S. Military

People think its expansion, but if you get rid of the 3 in "Halo 3:ODST" you get "Halo: ODST" a new game, and like all games probably has six hours of gameplay, or maybe more.

If Fed Ex and UPS merged into one company, would it be called Fed Up?

I don't want to start another account for a digital number that has no true value in ten years.

I don't mind the price it comes with ALL the Halo 3 maps which is worth $30 (Legendary is still worth 800 points, right?), plus reach beta for 2010 which who knows how much is worth (lets say $10). So ODST is only worth the game itself $20 or if you have all the maps $40. No really a bad price
