Subject: I don't want to re-buy Halo 3, make ODST seperate!

Befor i start, i will buy ODST, but i'm not completely happy.

ODST is 60 dollars (US), and yes, it is worth it. But most of the things in the game I already paid for. ODST comes with all of the DLC, which I already bought for a total of 30 dollars. It has the Halo 3 forge mode, and matchmaking, which i already have.

Why do I have to buy it all again? I have already paid for most of it. I think that they should make the ODST part seperate. Forget the second disc, put the 3 new maps as DLC, and lower the price to 20 bucks.

edit: i shoulda put a poll, tell me if u want it as is, or seperate

I kind of feel for you, but it's too late for it to fixed now, the game is done.

Think of it this way, ODST is basically a full priced game anyways, so your basically getting ODST and Halo all over again for the price of 1 game with all the maps, a 2 for 1.
And as I say to all these threads about this, the game, in my opinion should be more than $60 so just be glad it is.

Yes, I'm the guy who had the Flood admit to being furries.

Consider the maps you already have as an add on bonus. You have all the maps on disc now because of ODST, now you can get rid of that 1 GB of space.

It doesn't matter if you already played it, its still more content, an extra disc. 2 for 1.

Back when Legendary came out i didn't buy it because i heard a rumor that all the maps, and maps in the future were coming out with the new Halo game anyways. I tried my luck, and i was right to do it I guess haha.

At the moment i have neither the legendary nor the mythic maps. So as you can tell i'm pumped that ODST is coming with them. Win :3

Shhh, don't tell Sage!
Holy freedom fries!

Wow, i remember back in the day when games were $60.00 and they didnt even have online or this dlc bullcrap
Now you're all complaining because your ''Re-buying" The game? No. ODST would've been $60.00 without the second disc, simply because of the gameplay.

You're not buying the Halo 3 multiplayer. Halo 3 ODST is a full-length game, not an add-on. So, you're actually getting the Halo 3 multiplayer for free as an added bonus.

20 bucks for a campaign and firefight and the Reach beta? You're mental. That's worth $60 as is, compare it's list of features to some other games out there.

The second disc is just bonus, quit your whining.

How's it going?

That is very true, but very many other people have done the same and though the price is (what most people think) too high, though the community has a very high say in the opinion of Bungie and there game content, its there choice on what the price the game is and what content is included in it. Plus many other people have all the DLC for halo 3 anyway, so I say, "Join the club."

It's not a full fledged game, and the Halo 3 disc isn't a free bonus.

The second disc is not a free bonus, without it, the game would be cheaper. I want to be able get the ODST disc one by itself, then download the new maps, and in the process save a few bucks. And don't say "The Halo Reach beta makes worth $60!". No, it's a beta, so it should be free.
