The fight has been complete.... now get the cookies!

While we certainly share your enthusiasm for the return, we here at the Bungie.net community are mostly made up of snarky asses and jerks who will ridicule you for making a thread about something revealed months ago. We regret that your innocent intentions will almost certainly be replied with anger and sarcasm, and politely invite you to don your Flame-suit, because you just did the internet equivalent of jumping up the Construct lifts.

Yes it is.

Snakie Purple.

"Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog, Hamdog"-Hamdog.

Twatter

I agree. Thank you!

  • 07.16.2009 4:58 PM PDT

Exactly! People are complaining that they are paying more because they already have Halo 3. If anything, ODST should actually be priced more than what it is. Just be thankfull that you are getting Halo 3 multiplayer as an added bonus.

Been a long time Halo/Bungie fan, and always will be.

yeah.....im getting the one with the control

"so let us cast our arms aside and thus discard our wrath,
Thou in faith, shall keep us safe whilst we find the path"

I think people in the UK will be more inclined to get ODST if they have to make the choice - Because of the euro being worth more than the british pound the RRP for MW2 is £54.99* standard version so i think ODST at £50 will be more enticing you get more bang for your buck

No it's not. The game is overpriced. That cannot be argued. It doesn't matter though because it's halo.

how is he trolling this is the first thread ive seen where the OP says that the game is a full game

  • 07.16.2009 6:59 PM PDT

I'm don't mind the price of ODST and I'm sure it will kick ass but Bungie themselves said it was an expansion.

The only reason Modern Warfare 2 will be a better game is because it is a full game and thus offering more than an expansion.

Fixed

Its an expansion, get over it.

Explain. Don't say it's because it has a short campaign and no multiplayer. Lot's of games have no multi, and the campaign has been expanded

So basically, your saying the game isn't an expansion? Thanks for agreeing. :)

Games that don't have multiplayer have a decently sized singleplayer, ODST is a small campagin that half of the Halo community would finish within three days or less. The Firefight mode is just a mode. Only one type of extention after the campagin is finished, how on Earth could you call that a game! It's a damn expansion!

3 days, that's -blam!- long. 72 hours. Wow. Longer than Mass Effect methinks.

Despite that, ODST has more content than most games. So it is a full game.

i thought i remember reading somewhere that halo 3:ODST has 2 disc's:1 for campaign and 1 for multiplayer, like for firefight,PLUS!!!!!there is a invitation to participate in the halo:reach multiplayer beta so in other words,i think its worth 60 USDs cause of all the extras but that's my oppion you don't have to listen to it

I challenge you to finish ODST's campaign 100% in 3 days.

That's me calling bull-blam!- on you. This game isn't an expansion, and every reason I've heard said so far to explain why it's an expansion has had reasoning that falls apart at the first poke. So provide some concrete reasoning, other than "WAAAAH THE CAMPAIGN WE HAVEN'T SEEN YET ISN'T LONG ENOUGH" and then we'll see what happens.

Otherwise put your foot back in your mouth, it'll keep you quiet.

As Steve Wiebe would say.

"Boom."

Don't worry, Halo will never come close to Mass effect.

I have seen expansions that have more content than this game. Oh and no it is not a full game. Never was, never will be.
