Alright since I've been annoyed by the lack of good games being put to the xbox 360 game marketplace, I started thinking, why not Halo Custom Edition? Theirs already Halo on in the originals (which I downloaded) but why not Custom Edition? Including user created mods, including user created maps! Still keep it online, and possibly make it play with PC players (Which honestly I think would be hard to). I would buy that game for sure.
So here's my thoughts on the situation, I think if Bungie brought Halo Custom Edition to the xbox live marketplace, they wouldn't be losing anything just gaining, hell they could just make it so you have to pay for user created maps, like map packs, and they're chosen by the community. On Bungie day they could release some for free, and sometimes they could make it to be paid for. Same goes for mods.

So what's everybody's elses thoughts on this idea? I personally think it would be great for Bungie, they did it with Halo Combat Evolved. Halo Custom Edition and Halo Combat Evolved are both on discs as well for the PC, and they got it on. I don't think it would be hard for Bungie at all, probably easier, and this way they can also make some more profit. I've played Halo Custom Edition tons of times, and it's STILL popular. Even if people weren't fans of Halo 1 would still try it for the mods, and maps.

So please leave you're comments, thoughts and vote!

Halo: Custom Edition was an Editorial Expansion released by Gearbox for Halo: PC. It belongs on the PC. The 360 would not be able to handle Halo: CE gameplay, nukes, Longswords, Pelicans, it would be crazy, with a ton of lag. I'm fine with it staying on the PC. I prefer it staying there, too.

Oh crap, I completely forgot it was made by Gearbox, maybe you're right, or maybe they could fix the lag situation that you spoke of. I'd still wouldn't mind seeing it on the 360. Just the lag is what I'm worried about now.

I'd say 'maybe' because as much as it may not be ideal for the system itself to handle, I'd definitely purchase a copy for the Xbox 360 because for a lot of people it if more convenient on a game console especially if they do not own a PC such as myself. As for the lag issue I say that if they were to bring it to the Xbox 360 they may be able to make subtle changes which would decrease lag and such in game play.
