Imagine it like KOTOR or Mass Effect with your Squad? The ability to change your squads weapons and armor. To be able to pick up your squad members throughout the game and train them, level them up and give them unique abilities!

Anyone else like this idea?

Nobody?

I am of an open mind and I am willing to hear criticism. Also: That's stupid and you're stupid.

I would prefer KoTOR remain itself and Halo: Reach remain itself, as an FPS.

If you're passionate about the thing you're talking about, I'll always lend an ear.

I'd love it. Think of all the possibilities! Spartan upgrades, Weapon upgrades, more thought out plot which interacts with gameplay. However it must have that Halo feel and how is the health system gonna work? Shield increase or more durable armor, maybe both? Teammates could possible include an elite after a certain timeline event. An AI can also be a part of your team etc.

However making it feel like halo would be a huge overtaking which requires more then a simple redskin add Spartans and covenant process and it is a confirmed FPS.

Exactly though mistake me if im wrong that Reach is based during halo 1? Doesnt that mean they didnt have shields then? That would allow a longer health bar or you could take less damage from attacks

You assume that nobody would do it, so you try to add more comments to make it better? I would love the Idea. Hayabusa Armour, Recon Armour, Rouge Armour, they all look awesome, though I would never were them. If I could train a squad, I would pick those armour varients though.

Erm Reach is just before Halo 1 but Spartans-II still had Shields Prior to Reach. But if the they hadn't before the battle of reach then you can also add it in as an upgrade lol.

YOU'RE STILL ALIVE?!?

No. If it should be like any Star Wars game, it should be most like Republic Commando. KOTOR was fun though.

It's cherry, tastes like strawberry, looks like watermelon, and you think it's raspberry just because.

I think that a Halo that was like KOTOR or Mass Effect would be cool (except without homo-blam!- encounters), just not Halo: Reach. Something in the Halo Universe, maybe like being one of the kids that the UNSC abducted, and going through the training, and it ends with you dying on Reach (guess that's kind of a spoiler). Or maybe something like that, but with the Covenant, and you get to choose if you want to be an Elite, a Brute, a Grunt, or a Jackal. But maybe it should be made by Bioware, just kind of co-written by Bungie.

I thought that Spartans got their shields by reverse engineering shields from the elites captured during Reach? Thought I read that somewhere..

Q. My cousin told me that Halo: Reach is a squad-based tactical MMO featuring all kinds of ridiculous stuff that I shouldn't believe. Is he a liar?

A. Halo: Reach will be a First Person Shooter. You will shoot stuff from a first person perspective. It will be awesome.

but anyway i do think a rpg halo game would be pretty awesome as long as you started as a young spartan

"For us, the storm has past. The war is over. But let us never forget those who journeyed into the howling dark and did not return. For their decision required courage beyond measure, sacrifice, and unshakable conviction that their fight; our fight, was elsewhere. As we start to rebuild, this hillside will remain barren, a memorial to heroes fallen. They ennobled all of us, and they shall not be forgotten, Fleet Admiral Terrence Hood March 3, 2553"

Bungie isn't Bioware. They could do their best at it, but a Halo RPG is best left to the masters (Bethesda & Bioware). I myself would still buy it as it is a Halo game but it wouldn't live up to the hype that it would create.

i wouldnt mind a halo based game like KOTOR, but it would probably be made by someone else. But if it makes microsoft money... You can bet we'll see it.

Yes that's is HOW they get their shields not WHEN they got their shield jack@ss and it wasn't during reach.

MJOLNIR Armor Mark V Produced: 2542
Battle of Reach: 2552

That's 10 years they had it before reach. You read wrong. So don't try to correct me when its false information your giving cause that pisses me off. -_-
