For me, it has to be the SNES. To many great titles to list but here are few.
FF II
Operation Europe
Chrono Trigger
FF III
Secret of Mana
A Link to the Past
PTO
PTO II
Donkey Kong Country
Mariokart, (one of the first dual screen games)

And also, my SNES has never failed me or had any problems in the 12+ years I've had it.
N64 has to be a close second. With gamesl ike Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Over all I like PC or Mac the most, but of those, I choose Xbox 'cause its the only one (Besides PS2) With Bungie games on it.

True, yet how many offer the old Consoles as an option?

I grew up playing Donkey Kong Country, so I have to go with SNES, but Xbox brought me Halo, so it is #2.

God, how could I foget that as well!?

Yeah I recently pulled out my old Gameboy and all the games and have been playing them, both on it and the new GBA SP Retro I picked up. Batman: Return of the Joker was my fav Gameboy game and helped me ENORMOUSLY 10 years ago in car trips to Ohio and Penn.

So many people singing praises for SNES but only I and one other lucky soul actually voted for it! Donkey Kong 1, 2, and 3, Earthbound, Secret of Mana, The 7th Saga, Mario RPG, Super Mario world, Mario Kart, A link to the past, Final Fight, Tetris Attack, F-zero, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Killer Instinct, Super Metroid, Yoshi's Island, Captain America and the Avengers!, the original Star Fox, and those are just the ones I can name off the top of my head....I would not be the same wonderful person I am today if it were not for my Super Nintendo 'Entertainment System'. Long live the SNES, I know it will for me.

I used to be a PS2 fanboy, that is, until I played Halo. Hell, I even HATED X-Box before that because I saw Microsoft as nothing but a money grubbing corporation who didn't have any business in the Console genre. Halo changed my mind, and every FPS on the X-Box is worthy of at least a play through (Deus Ex : Invisible War comes to mind, along with XIII.) With the added feature of NextGen systems to be the first to not require an external memory device, and the controller (old and "S") are genius for FPS (though quite a nuisance in fighting games), along with a few great developers dedicated to the X-Box. Definitely my system of preference.

Hmmm... indeed. I see like 4 or 5 people praising the SNES yet only it has 2 votes. Perhaps next time I will do one without Xbox as an option.
