What five campaign maps should Bungie take into account when finishing up Halo Reach?

1. Assault on the Control Room/Two Betrayals. Why? Because it balanced interior section with exterior sections perfectly.
2. Tsavo Highway. Why? Due to art design, set pieces, encounters, and length.
3. The Ark. It was awesome.
4. The Covenant. Another awesome map.
5. Halo on Halo Combat Evolved. Why? Mix of linear and non-linear mission structure.

Halo was an amazing level. But the final level of H3 sucked. AotCR wannabe level.

No. Just trying to point out which maps outmatched the others and should be thought of when designing new levels.

I hope they take some elements from the steath portion of the Truth and reconciliation. That was probably my favorite gameplay moment from any of the campaigns. Hopefully they take some of these into account.

They don't get mentioned in the timeline of Reach. Nor does the ARK.

This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option.

So you pretty much totally missed the point of this thread, and the OP's subsequent comments. Hes saying these are his favorite levels from the past Halo games, and they should draw upon what those levels did right, for their level design in Reach.

Aussie proud, pissed and loud!

I loved how the ending was so similar to the first, but i think it felt way less EPIC than Halo 2 was when i beat tartarus' ass!

My fav levels from the past 3 games....

Halo combat evolved)
-Assault on the control room
Halo 2)
-Outskirts easily MY most favorite of all time
Halo 3)
either - the ark or the covenant it's hard to decide.

They should implement the best of the best into Reach but add something new to the pot aswell
