"I have no words that would do justice to the atrocities you commit to the English language, as well as your continued assaults on the concepts of basic literacy and logical reasoning."

The front page will shortly have an update on the problems over the last few days.

Yeah, me too. Also, my topic got deleted, and I'm not sure it was the site, or if I did something wrong. It also had a "Database Error".

Thanks for the update, Achronos. I just glanced over the news post on the main page; nice to know the details as well!

Did the database problems blow the performance updates you were planning to make out of the water, or were you able to get those implemented after all? The forums seem even faster today than they were even before the shakiness of the weekend.

That's because they are faster... especially the topics pages.

I'm glad to hear all is returning to normal (ish).

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Sort me some dead people

It all seems fine to me now! I did get a few errors come up yesterday but it was only for like a few minutes. I think i also just noticed that Achronos just posted twice in the same thread....i've never seen him do that before EVER!

Anyway. All is good now!

Cheers

I've seen it before. All the staff was more active before the New Hotness, and during the "Low Time" when all the Halo stuff we could see were the E3 2003 Video. Before the 2004 Earth City Demo. (I might have got those dates wrong).
