The name's Ian, Game Designer at Whisper Game Studios, very off-and-on Bungie.net visitor and avid Bungie fan overall. Message me if you wish.
Alright, well, due to the recent successful thread of a group dedicated to FF custom games, I decided to finally post a thread about a group of mine that's been dedicated to organizing a ranked system of play for FF for a good while.
As you read this, you're thinking "...Opportunist...", well, to tell you the truth, I might be, but this group of mine is not to compete against the other, it's not to steal members from the other. This group has been present for about a month or so now and it's about time it should be able to shine.
Our group is more of a matchmaking system than a custom games system. For those of you who feel to play for fun or competitively in Firefight, you might wanna join our group.
Now, I'm gonna tell you right off the bat, we're not a group for forum contests, we're more for tournaments, meetings, game organization and rankings. We're more serious than most groups. If you're more of a goofin' around type player than a serious player than you might not like our group. If you're more of a serious straight to the point player and wish to have a legit, actually operational ranking system for FF, than you might wanna consider us.
We've just begun making the first additions onto the group due to some new proposals brought to me by one of the moderators. I've begun organizing a team for a specific use in our group. We've more analytical. We like to get stuff done in FF. Come check us out here of you're interested.
Membership is open and we'll surely have some fun in the next week or so. Practice runs will begin soon so you might wanna get in on the fun. Come check it out if you're interested.
Hope to see you on the battlefield!
P.S. Just to let you know, like the other thread said,
And Lastly: Classifieds. People! Listen to me when I say this, Classifieds is a DUMP. Look at it. This is our problem and we must try to fix it. People need to start using it. ASAP.
