Again, Bungie claimed no part in Halo Wars like you said. But the creators of Halo Wars just had rights to the name. There is no proof that most of anything in that game happened according to Bungie(The ACTUAL creators of Halo, therefore the deciders of what is and what isn't). Now, if you want to you could try to find your proof and just prove that a short crappy RTS game may have actually happened according to the creators. But that would be a serious waste of time in my opinion.

In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

Yes, Bungie decides "what is and what isn't." And they never said that Halo Wars "isn't." The fact is, it is canon, go read Halopedia.
How about the fact that the Halo Wars graphic novel "Genesis" is written by Eric Nylon, the write of "Fall of Reach", "First Strike", and "Ghosts of Onyx"?

I hunt for the Prophet of Contentment, the San 'Shyumm that murdered my son, and stole his birthright, his Energy Sword. They call our species Heretics. They claim to all that our tongues sting, our words a vile poison that feeds on the unworthy. I have seen the true face of Heresy. The head of a gallant warrior lay on the ground. His neck scorched and blistered, scarred by his own blade. I shall retrieve the weapon, and drive it through that bastard's heart! Punishment for his sins is nigh.

Reach most likely takes place years/days/hours before Halo Combat Evolved

Weeks, actually, as the slipspace jump took a week or two to complete, and Master Chief LEFT Reach to get to Halo.

You know... I'm pretty sure they decided what "isn't" when they DIDN'T make it?
And also: "Welcome to Halopedia, the encyclopedia with definitive source for Halo information where anyone can edit."
Read that carefully and decide what morons would trust it.

Okay, I found an article on Bungie.net, here, that basically says they worked with Ensemble to make sure the fiction of Halo Wars matched up with Halo canon story so that Halo Wars would be part of the canon.

and of course he leaves when I find proof

The Halo REACH Script (post thoughts in thread)

Writing Lead of Whisper Studios. Check out Heron!

Look... I'm on bungiepedia!

It deals with the battle of Reach, an event from the Halo Story Bible. We learn the most about this battle in the novel Halo: First Strike, though it is more likely we will be playing through a different pespective (Team Beta?). The game will occur roughly 20 days before Halo 1 begins.

NO master chief

Are you getting your information from word of mouth? Because it's pretty obvious chief WILL be in the game, see: Fall of Reach.

Correction: See First Strike. Judging by the trailer, this game is about the groundside battle of Reach. This does not happen in The Fall of Reach. It happens in flashback chapters in First Strike.

Ken Jones Yeah!! the man is HERE

Reach occured before halo1 but after Halo wars reach was originally a UNSC controlled planet used to train marines and even spartans but sadly reach got glassed(bombed) by the covenant and the chief got frozen and rushed outta there on the pillar of autumn because if u played halo3 and watvhed the opening cutscene cortana clearly said she chose to save him because she thought he was special

All Retards are Retarded...

You Catch My Drift??????????

The campaign better be like a good amount of time, I dont want a 4-7 hour campaign. I want like a 14-17 hour campaign. I want some major epic battles and omg, this game could be like insanely amazing if they do it right.

Five years older and wiser
The fires are burning, I'm fire, never tire
Slay warriors in the forests, and on hire

Oh my gard oh my gard. You've just played all three now yes? Ok heres the things i remember and why you should feel ashamed for posting this thread.

Halo 1 - the very first mission is all about it. I can remeber all the lines but its mentioned atleast 4 times.

Halo 2 - "When we burnt there planet one ship fled" - the arbiter

Halo 3 - "When the covenant attacked reach their fleet was 50 times this size" - Lord hood

Edit: i was so enraged by the first two sentences that i replied straight away, thinking this thread was about where does halo reach go in the timeline.
