Subject: "Set to 'Tripod'" Camera Function in Theater

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

This is inspired by MLG Cheewahwah's recent suggestion about theater mode (Sorry Cheewahwah, you're just on my wavelength!).

What I was thinking, as an additional function in Theater, is a feature where one, when detached from the player, can click a button to set the camera down on a "tripod." The camera stays stationary, but you can use the up/down d-pad arrows to switch between players, and the camera will automatically track the player you're set to (much like how you can move from person to person in the 3-rd person or the aerial views). It's a simple "track this character" from a point of view that you can set. It would make for nice "fly-by" shots.

Golf Wang. Brony.

More automatic camera tracking? I like the idea, though with the amount of work that would need to accomplished, and the camera shots that could grow stale, I don't know.

Great for some badass montage shots or action-heavy machinima. To add that final touch, once you are locked on some player's movement, you can "wiggle" the camera for a cinematic effect.

I find that hard to do just right in Halo 3.
