Note: This is just my thought about how Bungie should make Halo: Reach. None of the information put down is from Bungie, or MLG. These statements are purely my own views on the game, gaming community, and Halo.
First off, I want to give you a little in site into why I am making this thread. I am a hardcore gamer, like many gamers. I do play for fun but for the most part I am a very serious gamer. Regardless of what playlist you like to play the majority of the community has a preference "Ranked or Social". So my idea for the best thing to do is this.
Halo: Reach should feature two game disks, the first one will be for the gamers who love to play social type games in match making. The second disks will feature ranked games in matchmaking. Both disks will work together, and allow gamers to play with each other. I am going to add all the information about everything i can think of for each disk. I will go into full detail for each aspect of the game, and market place. For the full list of the playlist on each disk for matchmaking, please check below.
Disk One: Halo: Reach - Social Gaming
Main Screen:
Start Solo Game - Campaign
Campaign - Halo: Reach Campaign
Matchmaking - See playlist
Custom Games - Bungie, and User Created files
Forge - Bungie, and User Created files
Theater - Film Files
Social Gaming Playlist: (not all at the same time)
- Ranked -
The Ranked playlist will be the same as it is in halo 3. You will have a rank for the play list in the form of a number and a grade rank. example. 50-General Grade 1. Regardless of you having disk one or two you can play with gamers from both disks in this playlist.

Customs/Forge:
Customs will now feature a new aspect for the file share. You will have a selection just like your recent maps, but will be called MLG Test Maps, MLG Gametypes.
MLG Test Maps: Any test maps that MLG is looking to see how the community is responding to them and want some feed back on will be here. When you are looking to see what the new maps may be to get an edge on the other teams fire up some maps and gametypes from this selection.
MLG Gametypes: In stead of sending a private chat to MLG Gametypes every time you need to get a MLG map varient or a game setting you can now just go to the selection in your customs and select it and start playing.
NOTES:
Disk one and two will work together for the selected playlist(listed above). The playlist Social, and MLG are on two different disks. If you are on Disk one you can access Social, but can NOT access MLG. Same goes for Disk two, you can access MLG but NOT Social.
Thank you:
This is just what i think Bungie should do with Halo: Reach. I know that the chances are so slim that I have a better chance of going pro. I will have my hopes and dreams. Any questions add ons are welcome. Again, this is just my thoughts, views and information. BUNGIE, and MLG has no part in making this.
