Subject: Multiple player models

I think it is obvious, Halo: Reach is going to be more like a Team Fortress/Brute Force/Tribes style game where you can get different types of player models/armor perks/ability perks. Ex some people will be faster, have more health, have a quicker regen shield, etc. Also, I think some people may be limited in the types of weapons they are proficient at, meaning everyone will start as "proficient" at a certain weapon class, and then have perks with some weapons and flaws with the others (sorry, heavy gear 2 player here).

Why? A) look at the top picture.
b) The novels
c) the depth this will provide. Say what you want about halo multiplayer, Starsiege Tribes had the replay factor because of the depth it had. I think if you take the tight halo multiplayer, coupled with a very in depth selection of potential abilities your character can have, you will have a revolutionary multiplayer game.

Sorry if this was already posted. thoughts?

Halo I think has been so succesful because it hasn't had all that many details to worry about. Its pretty damn simple to play without going into depth, though diving into depth can be rewarding to your playing style.

I mean, you pick up gun depending on the situations you expect to find yourself in, coordinate with your team mates, and crazy chaotic crap happens to you.

It just doesn't seem like they would bring in a class system at this point. Honestly, what classes would there be? Heavy, soldier, sniper, demoltion... thats bout it. And we all know everyone would just be the sniper and the rocket launcherist

True. To me though, Bungie indicated that they were going to try to revolutionize multiplayer, again, and I don't know how else they would.

A 4 or 5 class system would be pleanty, even 3 would be fine. The perks and flaws wouldn't be dramatic, but just different enough so that a certain style of play would be amplified, while another would be slightly muted.
