Hi all

Just wandered what cable Router people are using with Halo the last router just died, the problem with it was that after installing the router I was only able to get onto 10% of the servers in the list......

Now the router is dead and I have the modem connected straight to the pc everything is fine.

But I would like to have my other pc connected and not have to keep changing leads...

looking at the belkin one on Dabs at the moment manufacturers code F5D6231UK4

anyone have this one

I`m using a sitecom dc202 and have no problems playin halo pc and halo ce. Even with two pc runnin one halo game and joining different maps is no problem. Just can`t play lan together or both join the same game.

Make sure you get one with a built in firewall. These are very helpful. As well, D-Link and Linksys are the best brands to get, IMO.

meh, d-link is common becuase it's cheap, low quality though.

linksys is good when it works, can be tricky to set up sometimes though, (I have a linksys WRT54G wireless router, hard-lined to a mac and wireless to my bro's laptop and my gaming rig.)

a good brand, solid and reliable, is netgear.

but still, just my opinion.
