I'm currently looking at screenshots from ODST which were featured in OXM( Official Xbox Magazine: Yes I know I'm a geek, and yes, eat it) and I'm astonished on how much the characters look like the characters in Halo 3.
I know Bungie has made some improvements in the graphics(sick lighting effects) but if you are going to make a sequel or prequel, don't you think the graphics should be improved? The brutes make the same exact positions as they did in Halo, it uses the Halo 3 engine, and that's a little suprising.
When the original Halo came out, people were astonished by the graphics. When Halo 2 came out, people were saying "Is this the same hardware used to make Combat Evolved?". It was. And when Halo 3 came out, it had the same effect, even though it had better hardware.
And since ODST is the official prequel, shouldn't they do a little extra to make it be that much better then the last one, like they have done with countless others?
I know they are making ANOTHER game too, Reach, but I would rather have them make one game as great as it can be, upgrade the graphics, and then move on with the next game, instead of just rushing it and moving on.
Am I the only one? Or is Bungie going to introduce something else in the game that can make it top all the previous Halo games, like they have done before?
