You know, the last few Halo games have come out in really weird times for me. And, with me being an extremely hardcore Halo Fan, its been affecting my life. You see, when Halo 3 came out, it was on the day of my first exam. My End of Year papers if you will. Leading up to that, I constantly skipped school to stay and watch the Iris ARG unfold.
Basically, living in Singapore, the times and dates where these get release are completely bogus for me.
But anyway, so I got Halo 3 delivered to my house. And well, that was the end of that. I couldn't study. Whenever I got home from an exam (We were released early after papers), I would immediately come home and crack open the box. The first day, I did that, stared at the menu for a good 5 minutes and then started the campaign. I did study... a bit. But the expected "Play Halo" to "Study for End of Years" ratio was pretty lopsided.
That being said, I didn't do too bad and still enjoyed myself. In fact, the following year, I signed up for a special program for more advanced studies at an earlier age. And, at the beginning of this year, I switched schools and am now doing this special program.
Now, education here is hella tough. Seriously. Complex as hell Math Equations... -blam!-... even English here in this program is tough. Just finished my mid-years and well, I failed a quite subjects.
Now here's the killer: My End of Year exams start September 28th.
Halo 3: ODST drops September 22nd. 6 Days before my exams, right smack in the middle of the final Revision time.
Which such tough exams and ODST dropping at practically the same time, there is no way in hell I can play ODST. But, I probably am going to. Nothing can help me now.
See my delima? :D
