Hello. I was wondering what you guys think of the original Halo soundtrack. I bought it and really love it. The music in the game made the game 'Halo' and I don't believe it would be the same without it. What do you think? ~Cm

I love my Mark V helmet, no upgrade necessary.

Yes, you are quite right.
The Halo Ce Ost is still one of my favorites today.
It really helped the game along emotionally, like Covenant dance before entering the control room.
Or even the spooky ambiance of the library.

I've recently started playing Halo CE again ,and now with the added immersion of a gigantic sound system, exquisite to say the least.
Music, ambiance and imagery blend together perfectly with the surround-sound gunfire , enemy shouts and explosions.
It feels even more immersive now than eight years ago.

So i feel it is safe to say ,the music (thank you Marty O'donnel and Michael Salvatori) was a perfect match and really helped to make the Halo Franchise great and awe inspiring.

Very true. I love this soundtrack out of the entire set of soundtracks because the music is original. The soundtracks that followed used the same themes, and in my opinion, were a little less impressive. Don't get me wrong, I like the other soundtracks, but the original Halo soundtrack created the flavor of the Halo game.

I agree with all you guys, but really. I think we all need to learn how spell his name.

Anyways, I own all the soundtracks and listen to them on a regular basis. Halo: CE's is classic and, at this point, nostalgic.

Buut they forgot a song!
Go on Halopedia and search "The Lost Song"
It takes place in AotCR when you are in the hallway with the cloaked elites.

Yeah, we never did get an explanation for that.
