You have to admit, the voice acting in the Halo 3 is pretty good, and is overall fun. But what's the use of having witty combat chatter and the amount of resources Marty and guys at Bungie when the UNSC is utterly useless?
Now I'm going out and saying "Halo: Reach needs to be serious." It's just there isn't one spartan anymore. We are not god and the marines shouldn't kiss our ass like they do. Save the smart lines for the characters that need it: for character.
So what then? We are in an invaded UNSC stronghold. Radio chatter and combat screams abound, yeah? It wouldn't hurt to have some tactical-sounding lines. Bungie's chance to go all out with this since we know they are capable of this sort of thing, for sure.
So what do you think? Keep the game light or what?
