What do you mean first? Theres no proof of that. Thats just the place Bungie chose to show was all, that doesnt mean they go there first.

I think cause of all the pyramids there. So they can use them for some stupid reason which the master cheif will solve and beat

Probably because of the huge amount of flat land and the proximity to the equator, and possibly because of the pyramids and because a huge amount of ancient history took place there.
