Possibly but I think its the amount of data stored on the UNSC Lebanons computers as well as the mobile terminals. Which adds to the suspition that these transmissions are being
retrieved by someone else after the events take place

also of note are these items from meta name keywords:

"possible end stage, structured text, supersymmetry of gravitational propagation, cross-brane information exchange, not goodbye but rather fare ye well"

I noticed in that the First letter of each stanza in the third line of "Going down clockwise..." are bolded. When they are put together they spell Ab Initio. A quick Google search found that Ab Initio is a It's a legal term meaning :AB INITIO - Lat. 'from the beginning'. Usually used in reference to contracts, estates, trespasses and deeds to indicate their existence or validity relates back to their creation like an (unlawful) marriage 'ab initio' meaning the marriage was void during its entire alleged existence.

When a man enters upon lands or into the house of another by authority of law, and afterwards abuses that authority, he becomes a trespasser ab initio. And if an officer neglects to remove goods attached within a reasonable time and continues in possession, his entry becomes a trespass ab initio. But in case of an authority in fact, to enter, an abuse of such authority will not, in general, subject the party to an action of trespass.

I've seen the one new terminal added today, but where is the second one Mogwong? I don't see it on enkidu.bungie.org. I visited the url u posted, but it doesn't seem to be connected to the main Enkidu page. Where did you find it?

the "Click to Acknowledge" link on the "Barchetta Soap" page Mogwong posted takes you here:

http://enkidu.bungie.org/friday_evening/index.html

Which is just like:

http://enkidu.bungie.org

but with the link to the "Barchetta Soap" page
also, we are still missing a Prologue

Yea, but have you tried clicking on any of the other terminals? None of them on enkidu.bungie.org/friday_evening/index.html work.

Yeah, but it was the best fanfic ever. Definetly worth a read. Although I do admit that we should have known it was a fanfic from the begining. Oh well, these type of things require some faith. But stick around, it still says one teminal pending.

Blah! Fanfic?! Don't get me wrong but everyone was hoping for a bungie connection. So there isn't any new info about Halo2, all that rampant speculation.... for nothing. Kinda wish it was advertized as fanfic (not just in the tags). Don't get me wrong it was a good story and interesting... just not what we were all hoping for :(

Well it was good while it lasted... and who knows, maybe Bungie will adapt a version of it into the Halo storyline... Deffinatly the best FanFic ever, curious as to what the last terminal is though...

We might as well start a new thread to discuss possible Halo 2 plots. It would at least take our minds off the near-six month wait for its release.

Whoever wrote these deserves a huge round of applause. Those terminals were pure genius. I'm not even that sad that it's not Bungie, because it was loads of fun. Can't wait for the last terminal.

Lol, yep. Talk about lots of hard work. Although you guys might dismiss this as a fanfic, I might just put a little faith in it. A so called "spoiler" made up by a dude in early 2003 (for Halo 2) was posted, and nobody believed him. But according to everything Bungie has released so far, his hypotheses is like 90% accurate. I have to re-find that spoiler...........

Ok I have two questions(If it was already stated, Im sorry):

#1 Is Enkidu the AI for the Lebanon?

#2 Who are the 7rue rampancy? it says it in the last little bit of the final (so far) terminal.

I had read the Cortana letters along time ago, and this does sound like them, from my standpoint atleast.

I appluad the audicity of the writers of this so called "FanFic"

when i read the last terminal, my head exploded. For a split second i considered throwing my laptop across the room. That was however, a great piece of work. If in fact downloadable campaign levels will be included in H2, this would make a fantastic level. Bungie should work further with this guy

Oh my...

As a rather new fan of Halo, I found the Enkidu transmissions not that long ago, and tried to read through the whole thread in time to catch up with the speculation and donate my two cents... sadly, I didn't manage that. (I'm still on page 33.)

But reading these latter few transmissions... wow. I actually thought this was something from Bungie, and that says a lot. GIANT kudos to the writer of this magnificent 'fic, and thank you for one helluva good time. It does bother me that this means we have no chance of meeting Enkidu or any of the other characters in Halo 2, or for that matter find out who JD really is, but... wow.

Methinks these transmissions go down in Halo-fan history.

I think its safe to say that Bungie has at least ONE devoted fan. I mean, he probably went through so much work gathering all the data to write his fan-fic that it would be a shame if Bungie didnt at least have an easter eg on it in Halo 2. I found nothing in those terminals contradicting the Halo story line but if it does that to Halo 2 then I understand. That was great while it lasted. It will most definately go down in Bungie history. Now for some official Halo 2 transmissions.....

agreed that i am let down by the fact that it is fan fict.. but it was the *Best* fan fic writing for HALO/marathon i have ever read. it was like it was straight from bungie. it was soooo well done.

the last terminal will be interesting.

for those who where new to bungie or picked up the game with HALO, this is the kind of story writing that we bungie fans are used to. it is sooo wonderful.

yeah, it would be nice if there were a series of maps or levels done for this story. You do realize, though, that it CAN be done with halo CE.. although i dont think that we can creat a campaign - just the maps.
