Lol wow, talk about rage, I completely forgot about this but looks like you fanboys didn't, and if anything im a 360 fan, 18 games for it compared to 3 for the PS3.Dont delude yourselves with videos saying blu-ray sucks just to make yourselves feel better, having both consoles is the best way to go, and I haven't had a problem with lag on the PS3 (only LittleBigPlanet online ive played).

no u.

Yes and no . the PS3 reads at 4x and the 360 can read disks at 52x. Most of the Blu-Ry Games have to be installed on the hard drive :(. So yes it can carry more space "but" can't read as fast. I don't really care about Blu-ray at all as long as the game is good

Hey guys I have an Xbox 360 and a PS3, and I hate to admit it but I rather see this game on a Blu Ray as the fact it has more potential for content, is it possible, and is anyone else agree? go ahead bash the PS3 like you should care about a piece of plastic and metal

Blu Ray is better than the standard disc, thats a fact. If your not willing to admit it thats pretty ignorant
its better but to me its not worth two -blam!-s.

Why hasn't this thread died yet? The question has been answered.

Halo will NOT be on the PS3 because Microsoft owns all intellectual property rights to Halo. When BUNGiE was purchased by Microsoft years ago, so was their IP. When BUNGiE became an independent studio again, back in 2007, those IP rights stayed in the possession of Microsoft. The only reason BUNGiE is still making Halo games is because Microsoft wants them to. Microsoft could just as easily go to another studio (like Epic, for example) and ask them to make a Halo game. In fact, that's exactly what they did in the case of Halo Wars, which was developed by Ensemble Studios.

It has nothing to do with how easy or difficult it is to develop a game for one system or another. It doesn't have anything to do with there not being a large enough fanbase for one console or another. It has to do with the fact that Microsoft, creators of the Xbox 360 console, own the rights to the Halo franchise.

Microsoft doesn't make games for the PS3, just like Nintendo doesn't make Mario games for the Xbox, and just like Sony doesn't make Killzone games for the Wii.

killzone sucks

That isn't even remotely close to the point I was trying to make. The fact of the matter is that Halo is a Microsoft-exclusive title, Mario is a Nintendo-exclusive title, and Killzone is a Sony-exclusive title. You won't be seeing any of them on other platforms.

Who revived this bull sI-I1t? We already have definitive points that suggest and prove that the Halo franchise is exclusive for Microsoft.

Did you just say that you'd rather see it on the ps3 as there's more potential for content there? Well, yea, but I don't need a 20GB flash drive if I'm putting only the music I made onto it. Yea, potentially they could fit more onto it, but how about filling up a DVD first? It's not the media device that's limiting but time vs. resources. And if things didn't fit, they could just put it on multiple discs and allow for an install so you don't have to change them.

There's quite literally no chance of it either way. No, it's not like what Final Fantasy or Metal Gear Solid were in coming to the 360, there is literally no chance of it on the 360. Microsoft owns the halo franchise and Bungie is essentially to MS as Insomniac to Sony.

Hahaha...Final Fantasy XIII and Metal Gear Solid Rising IS coming out for 360...
XBOX 360 FTW!

"Metal Gear Solid Rising on 360"

"E3 2008: Final Fantasy XIII 360-bound"

I think you misread his post. He's saying that the situations surrounding both Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy and their transition/ports on the Xbox 360 were unique. A scenario like that would not occur for a game like Halo (or, in Nintendo's case, Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and all their various IPs). For both MGS and FF XIII, it was the developers (Konami and Square Enix, respectively) who owned the IP to those titles, not Sony. In the case of Halo, Microsoft owns the IP.

I wouldn't care if it went multiplatform but I think hell will freeze over before it goes to the ps3
