If anyone else watched the movie Eagle staring Shia LeBouf as lead character then you would have noticed how ARIA the ministry of defences super computer used current infrastructure and networks to guide Jerry Shaw (Shia LeBouf) around america to complete tasks. Examples would be
Train timetables altered to give instructions
Electronic notice boards shwoing arrows to indicate the right direction.
In the Halo ODST original trailer after the rookie gets out the pod and evades the first brute patrols the city lights iluminate an arrow showing a possible excape route. It is hinted that the cities AI or supercomputer if you will controls the infrastrucutre and networks to aid a main characters routes and decisions. It is hinted through trailers and gameplay that this direction give by the superintendent is a vital role of the exploration gameplay element in Halo ODST.
Just wondering if anyone else noticed or had nay views on how to different productions with seperate companies ahve similiar main features and in close succession in one another.
P.S. i am not saying bungie copied this idea, i'm simply wondering if any other connections can be made with eagle eye or other productions and if it can lead to any new finds.
Edit: Im quite sure in the new trailer for ODST there is a short film clip of the player observing a phone booth (clarification required) in first person mode and being given the option to LB/RB to access the superintendent. In eagle eye the main point of contact is through cell phones.
