Snipers and sniping are both cool, because sniping keeps you away from DIRECT danger and snipers present the unique challenge of avoiding head shots, closing the distance and slaying them. Try the stagger approach to avoid them
For the uninitated the stagger approach means running, stoping, and then running again (repeat), it's effective because the opponant expects you to run and is turning to follow your movement and then is thrown off by your stop, it can be ineffective if they can gauge how often you stop and have the target reticule there to hit you, but if you change your running distance between your stagger then you should be fine
