This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option. ----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.

no, they aren't. by the way, do all spartans have different size armor or different armor types? no. they are deffinitly marines.
Go watch the trailer, the voice identifies itself as; "Sierra 259", then states; "You have Spartans on the ground sir, were not going anywhere". The game is going to star Spartans.
Sierra is the indentification word before a Spartan II gives his service number. Masterchief for example is refered as; "Sierra 117". So not only are they Spartans, they are Spartan IIs.
Here is the description of EOD armor from Halo 3; "
"The MJOLNIR/EOD variant was created at UNSC Damascus Materials Testing Facility on Chi Ceti 4. The helmet was designed to channel the pressure wave of an accidental detonation around the user's head, significantly reducing the likelihood of decapitation in the event of an explosion. The MJOLNIR/EOD variant's pauldrons and chest plate were designed specifically to reduce the number of grabbing edges on the armor, decreasing the likelihood of dismemberment, and protecting Spartans during operations involving the handling of explosive ordnance (e.g., clearing/planting land mines, demolishing enemy structures/material and, or planting/defusing bombs). "
Its important to note, I am not aware of any Spartan IIs that wore armor variants. However, going back to the first part. The Spartan II project only consisted of 150 participants. The two Spartans mentioned in the trailer, 259, and 330 have to be from a second generation of Spartan IIs.
According to what I read, Hasely tried to intitiate a second class of Spartan IIs. However it fell apart, and it was postponed in 2531. I imagine the project would of regained momentum before Reach. In 2537, perhaps?
