I hope they do include one. I don't see anything wrong with that.

I doubt it. You will have downloadable content though, and we know the gods at Bungie make better maps then we do.

Digital Extremes will be offering one for Pariah.

You will be able to edit the maps on a PC. This is due to a new feature in Tsunami (Xbox Live 3.0). I was discussing this with one of the mods here a couple of weeks ago. I think this will be the first game to support it. I don't see how this would work for Halo 2. There really aren't any consistent structures or environment pieces that could be placed. This will work best for top-down game types.

One of the things I've been thinking about is a possible connection between a PC Map Editor and Halo 2. There have been other 'games' like that karaoke game that allowed you to interface your computer and xbox to transfer music files for your xbox to use.

If a piece of software like this is already avaliable I wouldn't be surprized if Bungie did something along the same lines. Basically you would have a map editor on your computer which you would use to design and construct the maps. Then after the map has been finished it would be converted to a file that the xbox would be able to store in memory and then be able to be run in Halo 2.

This is really far fetched, but I wouldn't be surprized if we see this type of thing in the future and if there is a company that could pull it off now I'd have to think it'd be Bungie.
