Okay so basically, sometimes i feel like going back and playing halo2.
But everytime i stick my disc in, i have to download an update in the 360 style menu.
Then when i get onto halo i sign in to live, then it asks me to do another update in the halo style menu.
And it takes me to the old xbox dashboard, with the green and that, and after its completed, it just stays on a black screen, so i turn my xbox on and off, go back to halo and i can sign in with ease.
But as soon as i sign in i ALWAYS get the error message that my maps are damaged or corrupt or something and i have to redownload them. ALWAYS.

So whenever i want to play halo, i have to download the maps all again. And play it for a few hours.
And then i turn my xbox off. And when i try and play it again, presto, maps are damaged. download them again.

Someone help me? =[

So really what you are saying is that you can get the maps but, after playing on the maps and then turning the box off and on, the maps are corrupt.

Did you try Dr WE1RD's steps like 'clear the cache' and delete said maps? You should clear and delete one after the other and then turn box off and on after both are done. Then try it once more.

Do you know about time travel?

Do you take care of your disks? This is usally caused by scratches on the disk that takes out small bits of map codes. All I can say is that you might have to get a new Halo 2 game disk.
