I think it will be the last halo game created by bungie. After that Microsoft will keep making halo titles and spinoffs and ruin the series.

Well hopefully Frankie can overcome the seduction to the "dark side" and hold off MSoft for a few years so he can actually work with the canon and release quality titles. I don't know how long it will be until MSoft fires him because of it though.

Also, I think this is the last Halo game we will see from Bungie and on the XBOX 360. Bungie, I hope your new IP that Jason Jones has been secretly slaving over is good, especially since it seems he has atleast been coming up with ideas of it for five years.

You know, i dont want Halo to be overplayed until EVERYONE loses interest and the game is forgotten. I want it to go out strong and tall. But I also love the game. I dont want to see it leave either.

Stay or Leave.

THE CHOICE IS IMPOSSIBLE :(

it would be awesome if bungie would end the halo series with a halo 4 and the MC dieing with other spartans he found. that way microsoft cant make their crappy versions. or we could just boycott the micro$oft halo until they give the halo rights back 2 bungie

First off, I despise stupid polls such as this one. You have two choices that are the same. Why not just have a yes, no, maybe selection?

Second, definitely not.

the will to win is the will to destroy

just to clear things up there will not be a halo 4 halo 3 was the end of the trilogy which means there will not be a game with the name halo 4 but most likely there will be more halo games

I'm a lead farmer, mother lover!

Halo is what it is. A franchise. A well selling franchise that has a branded hero. Halo itself was a trilogy, however the only thing that ended was that Arc of the plot. The convenant war and the flood threat. There's still plenty of story left to be told including their involvement with Forerunner, Covenant offshoots that may still exist (Just because we took down the current tyranny doesn't mean the entire thing is dissolved), perhaps just something completely brand new.

Additionally, chances are the coming games that are still within the primary canon will involve you as the Master Chief. He's their most noteworthy character and practically a household name (at least to any gamer).

It would be stupid for both Microsoft AND Bungie not to produce more Halo games as just the name alone will net them a nice profit. I don't think they'll drop the ball on this, and I would expect to see much more in the coming years.

i always thought that when cortana says the covenant is gone it wasnt true there is stil the brute ungoyy and jackals their planets did not die only their main forces so there is still chance of the covenant reforming and also the humans have their own problems to9 deal with like rebels
