Halo reach is about a battle on a planet called reach, spartans are still around and fighting, and this is where the covenant attacks a base and then as a result they find the location of earth, which leads in to the master chief's storyline.

Regret's fleet stumbled upon Earth not expecting to find humans there, they were just looking for the Ark portal. That's why Cortana says something along the lines of "they showed up with such a small fleet." during Halo 2 campaign.

I'm going to guess it will come out September 28 next year.

I'm trying to figure that out but nothing comes to mind. Unless, is that the time that full "officially" starts?

This apple is brown, and rotten. This orange on the other hand, is in relatively average shape. So the orange is definitely the preferable option.
----------You can't compare apples and oranges. You're so dumb.

Reach falls. Whats to understand? I can't see how there could be any confusion.

The video game is coming out in 2010, and in the video game Reach falls, as it did in Fall of Reach.

Regret's fleet stumbled upon Earth not expecting to find humans there, they were just looking for the Ark portal. That's why Cortana says something along the lines of "they showed up with such a small fleet." during Halo 2 campaign.

False, its established canon that the Covenant didn't randomly stumble upon earth. A heirarch doesn't go galivanting around the galaxy without a goal. Regret didn't know Earth was the human home world, but he didn't randomly stumble on it later. Additionally, the fleet that attacked earth was so small, because the majority of the fleet was destroyed, when Vice Admiral Whitcomb lurned the fleet towards the Unyeilding Hierophant. A Covenant homeworld, that was infiltrated by a team of Spartans, and set to self destruct.

A very good explanation.

Well Halo 3: ODST "Drops" and Halo: Reach "Falls", I'm guessing it has some sort of connection with the book "Halo: The Fall Of Reach" since Halo 3: ODST "Drops", linking to the fact they are Orbital Drop Shock Troopers.
Everything is linked in some way or another.

Because Reach fell, hence 'The Fall of Reach'. Dur.
