You know, theres been a lot of controversy over this subject. There have been arguements about the gore and realism of elite/alien blood in the campaign and multiplayer. If humans were removed along with the scary flood, would halo 3 be rated T? Possibly. But what would halo be with out flood and human allies to shoot in the face.

Relating to the multiplayer subject. Yes, its not rated, but remember that theres lots of 'hardcore' gamers that arent exactly 10 year old friendly people. So maybe sometime soon there should be a seperate rating for the multiplayer aspect of all games? Like T, but M if playing multiplayer. Just a thought

There are also kids under ten that manage to watch -blam!-. That doesn't mean that we should open the doors to allow any kid to be able to watch it. Halo is rated M so that the parents have to make the decision for their children. If the parents choose to give their child this game to play, then they shall reap the consequences appropriately

this is true and if u r under 17 then u really dont have choices yet.
it is like ciggarettes they are for people who r 18 because they can hurt u when ur younger and when ur 18 ur body is usually more developed and halo is the same unless u want ur kid to act like that then go ahead and buy it for them

We all know Halo has some swearing and violence and blood and gore, but kinds under 10 play it too.

Should Halo be Rated T?

I don't think you can rate a game Teen if it involves guns and killing people/aliens.

I think its fine with being rated M. The whole point of that is not to put Ideas in kids head about killing people. Even though its made by computer graphics, it still shows blood.

It could effect the ways kids think in many ways. Not only that, kids will go tell their other friends, and then it will be like bungie going out and telling kids its OK to cereal kill.

Bungie would get sued many times, and then they will go bankrupt.

maybe the rating shoulb be T-M like what they did for The Orange Box. T for the campaign and firefight CD and M for the multiplayer CD.

It really should be rated T. There is not much gore, just alien guts which don't resemble humans, and there's absolutely no gore in multiplayer.

What's wrong with the Flood?

Assuming there's no flood in ODST, I don't see why it shouldn't get a (T) rating.

On the content itself, ODST probably deserves a T but becuase it has the same multiplayer as an M rated game it should recieve the same rating for the sake of online population continuity.
