Just curious, is it like this for everyone?

Not complaining, just curious.

I went to bungie.net and it had it, but when I clicked on bungie to go back to the home page, Alas!, it was gone.

This all happened today, first time for me.

I don't know if Bungie meant to do it on purpose, but I thought that little menu was quite convenient.

Perhaps another fault with the site? Perhaps they're trying to fix something on it and took it offline? who knows?...where's Achronos?

I'm not that active, but never dead.

Edit: It's back.

When it comes back it will either be better or will have been replaced by something better.

Instances of the control that displayed the Most Popular Forum thread have mostly been removed due to a performance problem with the code that runs it. As the issue was discovered late on Friday, we removed most of the instances of the control until a more permanent fix can be put into place.

In the meantime, I suggest using the navbar to get to the forums, it is under the Community tab.

I'd rather have it missing than have the whole site down...

It's nice to see that they can take down idividual parts without taking down the whole site.

Anyone else ever notice that the Halo Movie Thread is missing from The Underground? I've never cared, but it just seems kind of, strange.

Edit: Out of the dark mists of The Underground, The Halo Movie Thread has resurrected.

If you're talking about the code that displays, rather, used to display the author of the most popular thread, then....

That's pretty sad.

No, the code in question is the code that finds the most popular post. It used to be okay, but as the forum was recently updated with a new build to make things faster, the old way of getting "the most popular" thread in a forum became very slow.

Is there a reason why the thread is not stickied?
